I just signed up for scrapblog and have been playing around trying to get a feel for it. It's very cool, but I have a couple of questions. Is there any way to build a 'library' of the backgrounds, stickers, etc. that you have used on previous scrapblogs so that you can have easy access to them when building a new scrapblog? I've read on another post how you can add pages from other scrapblogs to the current one you are working on, but I was wondering whether it is possible to mix and match stickers, backgrounds, etc. from different themes onto the same page (e.g., use background from imported scrapbook page and use stickers from a QuickMix being used for current creation)? Thanks in advance for your assistance!
You can create a page in a published SB (you can use the option "Don't publish this page") and then put the stickers and background you want on it. Then in the new SB, when you add a new page, choose the option to "Use a page from your SB". This will not put the stickers or background in the tray of the new SB, but they will be on the page so you can copy and paste them....again, use the "Do not publish this page" option. Hope this doesn't totally confuse you....it is the only work-around I know of to get stuff from one SB to another. I wish SB would let us have a master file of stickers and backgrounds from all our SB's. Especially now that lots of the stuff that used to be free isn't any more.
I believe you are also able to 'tag' stickers (you used to be able to do so). In that way, if you tag a sticker you like with something special to yourself e.g.mamaian -you should be able to call it up again by using the 'search' option.
I'm new to SB also. I'd like to know how to find the free items. It's understandable that there is a charge for some but I'm just wondering what the choices are.
When you are in the "Get Stickers" window, on the left there is a dropdown selection...click on "Stickers", then at the top of the page just to the left of the search area, click on "Least Credits". This will arrange all the free stickers first. You can do this after searching for something specific too. There are still lots of free items, stickers and backgrounds. The best new feature is the ability to use any of the new "Shapes" (there are some really nice ones now!)and drag ANY background into the shape...it will fill the shape and this makes some really nice page elements. After the background is in the shape, you can grab the hand in the center and move the background until it shows the area you want to see. The QuickMix feature is neat too. Welcome to Scrapblog!!
